FREDERIK KYNDE

I’m a video journalist, photographer and editor focused on documentary storytelling and social media. I tell stories about the world and society with people at the centre, creating reportages, explainers, short documentaries and visual content for social media, media outlets, organisations, and businesses.

I’m drawn to getting close to the people behind the stories and finding the visual approaches that bring them closer to the viewer.

As a freelancer, I’ve worked with clients including Politiken, Danwatch, PlanBørnefonden, Süddeutsche Zeitung, GlobalNyt and Gyldendal. I can take a production from research and planning through filming and editing, often working alone in the field and on tight deadlines. I also enjoy contributing as a photographer or editor to other people’s productions.

I graduated in TV and Media Production from the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) in 2024. I’ve also studied in Beirut and attended Potemkin Film School.
